Nice to see Woody Guthrie make an appearance at the London anti-Trump protests last week, albeit via t-shirt (thanks, Samantha Bee).
The iconic image of Guthrie, with guitar, and the slogan THIS MACHINE KILLS FASCISTS will live forever and continue to inspire.
In addition to the above appearance, we've seen Woody inspire protesters making art, as seen here... or one group that sang Guthrie's classic "This Land Is Your Land" at a protest against Trump's racist travel ban. Some people think "This Land Is Your Land" should replace the horrible "The Star-Spangled Banner" as our true national anthem (see link to petition below.)

Then, there is the amazing coincidence that Guthrie actually had Fred Trump, our Trump's father, as a landlord.... hated him.... AND wrote a song about what a jerk he was!
