So many bands put out a great debut only to be tripped up by the follow-up.. not the case with Unknown Mortal Orchestra, one of the best bands of Kiwi origin in all of Oregon... their first album (and live shows) were great... and their second album is great too... the best "red-eyed soul" (as "Rolling Stone" called them), nice guitar improv live... indie rock and pop with hints of soul, funk, r&b, motown... am i the only one who wishes The Jackson 5 had covered "How Can U Luv Me"?
Looking forward to the 2013 tour coming this way....
