is also a singer, composer, songwriter, producer, guitarist, keyboardist... wait! is there anything he doesn't do???

Billy gave up the drummer's seat for Nathan Williams' Wavves (Billy was the second of three drummers for Wavves so far) on the eve of their performance at Madison Square Garden, opening up for The Dirty Projectors and Phoenix (who were joined on stage by Daft Punk) as part of CMJ 2010.

He stated at the time that he wanted to devote more time to his own songs - he wrote three of Wavves' best songs - Baby Say Goodbye, Convertible Balloon, and Stained Glass (Won't You Let Me Into Your Heart) - and that he preferred to spend time at home as opposed to the rigors of the road.

Fortunately Billy has been active, composing soundscapes and songs and posting them for free download or stream on Soundcloud:

There are some cool songs there, and the latest posting (see top of this posting) is really worth checking out.
