Nathan from Wavves wants to meet Dave Grohl.... here are photos and a video of Dave Grohl drumming with John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) and Josh Homme (Queens of The Stone Age) in Them Crooked Vultures... (before joining The Foo Fighters as singer/guitarist, Pitchfork reports that, like Jack White, Dave Grohl was originally a drummer, and played drums with a couple of bands in DC and Seattle...)
Photos and video by Michael Donnelly (mikedx1) for New Music Today by This Small Planet.... taken at the Them Crooked Vultures show at The Fox Theater, Oakland, California, USA, November 19, 2009...

Wavves new Life Sux EP is out September 20 on Nathan's Ghost Ramp label.
Wait! Any good gossip as to why Wavves is no longer on Fat Possum!?!??!?!?!
Fat Possom began as a project to record older Black blues artists like R.L. Burnside and T Model Ford, but more recently have been releasing incredible fresh music from groups like Wavves, The Smith Westerns, Yuck, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, etc....
Why did Wavves jump ship? More artistic control on their own label, or.....????
