ALSO NOTABLE: I've given the new Yo La Tengo album There's A Riot Going On a few listens, but it has yet to grow on me. Still loving Ty Segall's remarkable new one Freedom's Goblin. Superchunk's What A Time To Be Alive is very good, as is the recently released Doc Watson Live At Club 47 recorded at the famed Cambridge, Mass. folk club in February 1963.
P.S. Comic genius Dick Van Dyke is 92; still going strong (see video above). Barbara Dane turned 90 last May; also as active and engaged as ever. Where's the brill promoter out there who will put together a Dick Van Dyke/Barbara Dane tour?
