Richard Thompson put on a hell of a show last night.

As usual.

It was a delightful mix of a half-century of music, going back to his British folkie roots with Fairport Convention (which in its heyday included the enchanting Sandy Denny - Robert Plant's duet partner on "Battle Of Evermore" and another guitarist extraordinaire - Iaian Matthews) and continuing through his catalog including several songs from last year's strong 13 Rivers release.
