Saw The Corin Tucker Band open up for M Ward recently. Sam Coombes (Quasi, Heatmiser) guested on guitar for a couple of songs.
Sleater-Kinney gets more respect now than ever. Good to see Corin rocking out. Ex-bands mates Carrie Brownstein (of the TV show Portlandia and influential music blog/podcast NPR's All Songs Considered) and Janet Weiss (Quasi, ex-Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks) are getting a lot of attention in their new band Wild Flag.
