Throughout the video, the real Danny Nedelko, poses with various people flashing the "OK" hand gesture. It's a deliberate attempt to reclaim the hand gesture from "WP" white nationalists.
Nedelko is a Ukrainian immigrant to the UK, a friend of the band, and lead singer of Heavy Lungs.
Idles lead singer Joe Talbot told Q Magazine that: "There's no confusion in that song, there's no artistic prowess. It's not saying, 'You voted for Brexit so you're a stupid racist...' It's just, 'I love immigrants.' And because it's so simple, a lot of people will think I'm stupid. I know that. I know that people will criticize me for it. But what I want to do is to be as vulnerable as possible, to open up my feelings in the song to encourage the listener to feel like they can be vulnerable with us."
