Dino Valenti (Chet Powers) 1937-1994. Composer of "Get Together"
"Get Together" or "Let's Get Together", written circa 1964 by Dino Valenti (Chet Powers), has been covered by The Kingston Trio and many others including, most famously, Jesse Colin Young & The Youngbloods.
The song has become an anthem of the 60s and used in countless films, TV shows, and adverts to evoke the spirit of the times.
We think it holds a powerful message for 2020 as well.
