Bob Mould, of Husker Du and Sugar, has a new solo album, Sunshine Rock, coming out February 8, 2019 on Merge Records.
He's been living in Berlin and made a short film about his experiences there.
I saw Husker Du at UCLA in 1984 at an SST night along with The Meat Puppets and The Minutemen. Their version of Gene Clark/The Byrds' "Eight Miles High" was a hit on college radio.
I've been following Bob's career ever since. He's a remarkable artist. I liked his book too, See A Little Light (2013)
